There was a dogeball tournament at the elementary where my daughter attends school. When school was over I picked her up as usual but she asked if we could stay to see the games. Many of her friends were playing. First I said no because I already had plans for that afternoon, but then reconsidered. After seeing the desire in her face to see her friends play, I agreed.

We parked the car and went in to the school gym. As expected, there were many parents and kids there all having fun watching the tournament. I sat down and much to my surprise, my daughter sat with me. She told me of the different teams and who she thought would win. That afternoon we talked, laughed and enjoyed the games as we sat together. You never know when you will get to have those special moments.

I’m so glad I decided to take time to go see a dodgeball game.  What a Joy!

That The World May Know (Product Review)

The Faith Lessons Series, also known as That The World May Know is nothing short of inspiring. Each DVD features Ray Vander Laan as he takes a group of people across the Holy Land to discover the deep truths of the Holy Scripture. Each Faith Lesson DVD will inspire you and challenge you in your walk as a Disciple of Christ. The two most recent editions include “Dust of the Rabbi” and “Walk as Jesus Walked”. Both DVDs are excellent as Ray Vander Laan teaches with contagious passion.

Each Faith Lesson DVD stands on it’s own and does not have to be watched in order. These are great for Church or Small Groups and also for individual study.

Nothing has opened and illuminated the Scriptures for me quite like the Faith Lessons series - James Dobson.
